Getting Healthier

Hello everybody,
I am so sorry that I have been away for ages!
School is literally taking up all my time right now so I haven't had the time to write a blog post.
I will definitely try to blog more this week but I can't promise anything xx

As you may have guessed by the title this post is about getting healthier and fitter.
At the beginning of the year Louise (sprinkleofglitter) startet a thing called #glittergetsfitter (mostly on instagram) because her New year's resolution was to get fitter which is amazing !
She motivated me to get fitter and healthier as well which didn't work out that well at first.
I exercised 2 or 3 times in January and after that my motivation was gone completely until I saw a post on tumblr about 6 days ago.

It said that it takes about 21 days to develop a habit so I decided that I'm going to eat healthier, drink more water and exercise more for at least 21 days.
For every accomplished day I have a post it note with the number of the day that I stick to my wardrobe when I go to bed.
This keeps me super motivated !

Drinking water was always a big problem for me, I never drank more than a litre a day.
Now, I try to drink at least two litres a day and it works quite well !
I like to put lemons and mint into my water so it doesn't taste as boring and, for me, it works wonders.

I am also trying to eat healthier and not to put all that crap into my body.
Sometimes I still have a not-so-healthy snack but all in all I'm doing alright I guess.
I eat a lot more vegetables and fruit and I started to have a healthy breakfast before school which I never had because I was too lazy to get up earlier.

Exercising is the part that I'm most excited but also most afraid of.
I haven't really exercised properly for at least a year but now I want it to be something that happens on a regular basis.
Me and a friend of mine want to go for a run at least twice a week (we already did it this week and it was amazing :)) to get fitter and also to lose some weight.
I think it's very helpful to have somebody who exercises with you because you can motivate each other and it's a lot more fun !

I will try to stick to these things every day and I hope that I will be a lot healthier and fitter someday :)
I want to live a life that is more active than it is now and I want to feel healthy.

If you also want to get fitter and you need some motivation you should check out #glittergetsfitter and follow Louise on Instagram here .
For updates you can also follow me on Instagram here.

Have a lovely weekend !

Asos Wishlist: Pastel Power

Hello Everybody,
whilst roaming Asos today, I stumbled across their Pastel Power collection and I thought 'Why not post a Wishlist?'
I really, really love pastel tones and I definitely don't have enough of them in my wardrobe.
I also think that this collection is perfect for spring xx

I am obsessed with cardigans and I can't have enough of them!
It is available in two colours, black and pink and I would definitely buy it in both of them.
The open front and waterfall hem design is very pretty and the material looks so cosy as well.

How gorgeous is this dress ?
I seriously love everything about it; the colour, the asymmetric neckline and the statement frill.
Again, this dress is available in two colours, black and cream but I think it's way prettier in cream.
This dress is very chic and I'm sure you could wear it to a large variety of events !

For me, skater skirts are an absolute Must-Have and this one is just too cute !
Lavender is such a beautiful colour but I don't have ANYTHING lavender coloured in my wardrobe yet so this skirt is much needed !

These socks from River Island are the most adorable socks I have ever seen !
The colour is perfect and who doesn't want frill cuffs ?
I definitely do.

I can imagine that this belt paired with a cute dress looks super amazing !
The matte pink and the shiny gold fit perfectly together and I love that the metal keeper is a bit chunkier than the belt.

I saw a bag that looked a tiny bit like this in Zoella's Back To School Video and I instantly fell in love with it. Sadly, that bag was sold out but when I saw this today I thought it looks very pretty as well.
It is way smaller than the one Zoe mentioned in her video and, obviously, the colour is different as well.
I love the pastel blue though and I also like the shape and design of the bag.
I think it's perfect for daytime; for shopping, for a walk or just a girly day in the city or a café.
I adore this bag and I really want it !

I think that this watch is very girly and cute !
I love pink and especially this pink.
The stripes and the gold details make this watch look even cuter.
I just love this watch :)

Do you guys like pastel ? Are you excited for spring ?

It was such a beautiful day even though it was very cold !
I'm just going to leave you with some pictures now and I'll do a proper post soon :)

My best friend (check out her blog here) came to visit me all the way from Poland which is very exciting because I haven't seen her since she moved there half a year ago.

After a very long journey for her and a sleepless night for me, she finally arrived at 9:30 this morning and I'm so happy to finally have her here again !

We went to a place where we took photos all the time before we went horse riding and again; had a little photo session there today!
Since we took photos anyway I decided to do an OOTD for you guys :)

Rouge Dior - 941 Rouge Cannage

Hello everybody and happy weekend :)

I got this beautiful lipstick from one of my bestest friends for Christmas and I think it's time to write a review on it.

This lipstick by Dior from their Rouge Dior line is my very first high end lipstick and I absolutely adore it !
The packaging is very simple but also very elegant; deep blue combined with silver and Christian Dior's initials on top.
To me, packaging is always important because it's the first thing you see when looking at a product and this one really impressed me !

The lipstick has a creamy texture, slightly too creamy for me, but it leaves your lips feeling all smooth and moisturized and it helps to shape your lips so the application is very easy.
The pigmentation is incredible and it still looks good when it's all blended together with your lips.

Dior offers this lipstick in 32 shades so there's definitely a shade for everyone !
Mine is in the shade '941 Rouge Cannage', a warm bright red that adds a touch of glamour and elegance to your look.
It is perfect for a night out or even a very important event.
You don't have to reapply it too often but it won't last on your lips for a whole night out.

All in all I would say that this couture lipstick is a must-have for every woman.
This lipstick isn't only a lipstick - it's a stylish accessory as well and that's why everybody should own one of these ♥

Coffee Chocolate Cake Recipe

Hello everybody and Happy Sunday !

As you may have noticed by the title I'm going to share a cake recipe with you today.
This cake is seriously so easy to make and it is so delicious !
If you have a sweet tooth, like me, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

What you need:

- 170g softened butter
- 375g white sugar
- 3 eggs
- vanilla aroma
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 60ml water
- 125ml buttermilk
- 130g all-purpose flour
- 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt

Firstly you want to preheat your oven to 165°C (325°F) so it can warm up whilst you're preparing the batter.
The next step is really important if you don't want your cake to fall apart because it's stuck to the pan; you need to grease and flour your baking pan !

Next, you need to mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
You will need this mixture later so you can set it aside for a while.

Now, mix the butter and the sugar in a large bowl until it is light and fluffy.
It is beneficial to have an electric whisk since it would be really hard to mix the butter with the sugar by hand.

Beat in the eggs (one at a time) and add a tiny bit of vanilla aroma to your butter-sugar mixture.

Dissolve the coffee granules in hot water so it is ready to use.

Then, add the flour mixture, the buttermilk and the coffee to the butter mixture and mix it together until there are no lumps left.

Now you can pour your batter into the pan which you can now put in the oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
If you stick a toothpick into your cake and it comes out clean; your cake is ready !
Take it out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 20 minutes.
Turn the cake out of the pan and let it cool completely.

If your cake is cool you can decorate it however you want :)

Et voilà, your cake is ready !

Bon Appetit!
