Breakfast Sunday #2

Today's healthy recipe is one of my favourites!
I'm a huge fan of pancakes but, sadly, they are not all that healthy.
These banana pancakes are a good and healthy option and they are seriously just as delicious as normal pancakes! Furthermore, they are a lot easier to make :)

You basically only need three ingredients that are
- 1 Banana
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Oats

Just blend these ingredients together and bake your pancakes in a pan.
Whilst they are baking you can put berries into your pancakes or just leave them as they are.

When they are ready you can put whatever you want on top of them :)
I used a tiny bit of honey. berries and some almonds!

Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation | Review

Once again, I am so sorry for my lack of blogging!
I wanted to write a review on this foundation for ages now but I didn't have the time to do so.

I was really excited to try this foundation since everybody seemed to talk about it but I'm not sure whether I like it or not.
I got it in the shade 120 which, sadly, is way too dark for me but it was the lightest I could find.
Since summer is coming I'm hoping to get a bit more tanned so maybe it'll match then :)

The coverage is light to medium which gives you a really natural look and therefore is perfect for summer. I also think that it has an SPF but I'm not too sure since I only saw it on their website and not on the actual bottle. Speaking of the bottle, I really like the packaging! It looks so elegant and sophisticated and I just love it :)
There are two main points that I dislike about this foundation and that is it's consistency and staying power. It is quite liquid and feels a tiny bit weird on the skin since it just feels really wet (maybe it's just me who thinks that but yeah). For me, it definitely doesn't stay on for a long time. I wore it a few times now and I got dark patches in some areas of my face and it was completely gone in other areas.

All in all I think that this foundation isn't the best but not the worst either.
If your skin is really good and you only need a tiny bit of foundation anyway than this is a great option but for me, with really bad skin, this foundation doesn't work that well.
However, I really want to try it in the shade 110 because I think it'll look a lot better if I had the right shade for my skin.

What do you think about it?

Breakfast Sunday #1

Breakfast is my absolute favourite meal of the day so I thought that, every Sunday, I'm going to share a breakfast idea with you. At the moment I'm trying to have a really healthy breakfast every morning (which is hard because I'm always running late for school) to give me more energy for the day.

I recently also started to drink green tea every morning because it's supposed to be really healthy and beneficial for weight loss. It isn't the most delicious tea on earth but it tastes alright and the fact that it's really good for you makes it even less horrible.

My first breakfast idea is this bowl of deliciousness!
It is so quick and easy to make and gives you a lot of energy for the day.

1. Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt contains nearly no cholesterol or saturated fats so it's really healthy and good for your heart. What it does contain is calcium which strengthens your bones and protein which helps building muscles. Furthermore, it makes you feel full quite fast so you don't have to eat that much of it and it tastes really delicious as well.
I'm just putting a small amount of Greek yogurt as my 'base' into a bowl.

2. Granola
Although it probably isn't the healthiest ingredient of this recipe it is not too bad either and it tastes very delicious. It also contains fiber which helps your digestive system and makes you feel full.
I went for a strawberry wholewheat granola which tastes so amazing and I usually sprinkle about 2-3 tablespoons of it on top of the Greek yogurt.

3. Oats
Oats are seriously so healthy so I try to include them in my breakfast as often as possible.
Eating oats can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases because they help lowering your cholesterol levels. Moreover, they are a really good source of magnesium and, again, they contain fiber.
I used one teaspoon of oats and put them over the Greek yogurt along with the granola.

4. Almonds
Almonds help you to provide a good brain function because they contain riboflavin and L-carnitine which boosts your brain activity. They also lower the rise of blood sugar and insulin after your meal. Almonds are full of healthy fats and they even help you to lose weight.
I used about two teaspoons of almonds and added them to my bowl, they taste so delicious too.

I then added raisins and blueberries because they are so delicious and healthy.
Of course you can add anything you like (strawberries, bananas, apple etc.) to make this breakfast as delicious as possible

Easy Banana Bread Recipe

Everybody is talking about banana bread these days so I wanted to try it myself.
This is the first bread I ever made myself and I think it's quite delicious.

What you need:

- 125g of sugar or stevia
- 300g of flour
- 110g of margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 3 bananas
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

First, you want to peel your bananas and mash them with a fork.
You then need to add the margarine to a bowl and stir it until it is creamy.

Next, you need to add the sugar and 2 eggs and mix it all together.
I used stevia instead of sugar because I wanted this bread to be a tiny bit healthier but you can add normal sugar if you want to. In another bowl, you have to dissolve the baking powder in water and add it to the other bowl along with the flour, the salt and the mashed bananas.
Mix everything until it is perfectly blended together and add it to a greased pan.

Let it sit in the pan for about 15 minutes.
Then, set the oven to 175°C and let it bake for about an hour.

And there you have it:
A very easy but delicious banana bread!

Maybelline - Color Sensational Popstick | Review

A few weeks ago I strolled through our local drugstore and I spotted the Maybelline lipstick section.
After doing some swatches I decided to buy one in the shade '020 Tropical Pink'.

Pink is my absolute favourite colour and I actually didn't own a pink lipstick before so this is perfect :)

The Maybelline Popsticks aren't the most pigmented lipsticks but that's what I love about them.
They are perfect for a really natural everyday makeup and they look gorgeous on the lips.

I used this lipstick so often in the last couple of weeks and I've just been loving it.
The smell of it is amazing and it is so soft as well.
Although it looks a tiny bit like a gloss on the lips, it still feels like a lipstick and is not sticky at all.
It stays on for quite a long time and it makes your lips feel so soft.

I think it looks so gorgeous because it's kind of see-through and although the packaging isn't very elegant I think it looks very cool :)
This is definitely a lipstick that everybody should have in their collection and it's not too expensive either.

Have you ever tried a Color Sensational Popstick ?
What is your favourite shade ?
