Denmark Days | Part 1

Hello everybody,
I finally finished my little job I did on holiday (it was quite exhausting so I couldn't motivate myself to write a blog post) so now I'm back on track :)
I still have about three weeks off and I have planned some really exciting things!

Today, I'm going to start a new little series called 'Denmark Days' inspired by the lovely Essie Button who is currently road tripping through the north (watch her vlogs here)!

I have been to Denmark a couple of times and I just love taking photos of the beautiful scenery and the sea so I thought I'm going to share the photos I took over the last three years with you.

In 2011 we had a holiday flat in Søndervig and my family, my best friend and I stayed there for a week.
We went bowling nearly every night and took long walks on the beach quite a lot.
It was such a lovely week and I took so many photos but sadly I couldn't find all of them but I hope you'll enjoy the ones I found :)

Living room in our holiday flat // We didn't have the loveliest view // Fake flower // We went shopping in Ringkøbing // I kinda liked these shirts // Bouncy balls // The path to the beach in Søndervig // I'm always so excited to see the sea // There was so much foam all the time // Pelle // Waves // Pelle once again // and again. He really likes to run through the sand :) // Segways // Sunset // I just love the atmosphere when the sun is setting // We sat in the dunes to watch the sunset // The way back to our flat // I don't know why but I kind of liked this photo // The sunset in front of our flat // We went for a night walk on the beach :)

Have you ever been to Denmark ?
Do you love the sea as much as I do ?

Spaghetti and Vegetables

A lot of people think that vegan meals are very time intensive and hard to cook but they are just as easy as everything else. Of course there are recipes that are complex but there are 'normal' recipes that are also very tricky.
I recently fell in love with this recipe and it seriously is so easy and only takes about 10 minutes!

All you're going to need is:

- Spaghetti
- Water
- Frozen vegetables (you can also use fresh vegetables but that would take longer)
- Olive oil

Now you just need to cook your spaghetti and roast the frozen vegetables in a wok.
When your spaghetti are ready, put them on a plate and, carefully, put some olive oil on top of them.
Then just add your vegetables and your very delicious meal is finished :)

It tastes so delicious and makes you feel quite full as well!
I really like to use olive oil instead of an actual sauce because the taste of it is amazing and it's not as heavy in your stomach :)

Have you ever tried this recipe?
What is your favourite meal?

Toni & Guy | Shampoo and Conditioner for Damaged Hair

I spotted those two sample sized Toni & Guy products quite a while ago and immediately had to take them home to try them. The shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair are from the Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe 'Cleanse & Nourish' collection. They are quite expensive (I think they were nearly 4€ each) so I couldn't afford the normal sized products (that were about 10€ each) which is quite a bummer since I really enjoyed using them.

Both, the shampoo and conditioner, smell amazing!
I am quite crap at describing smells but they smell like a really nice hair salon! Kind of sweet but also really sophisticated and classy.
Your hair will smell like you've just been to a salon and it will stick around for quite a while which is great.

Since I used to bleach my hair it is quite damaged and I really think that those products have helped a lot.
They make your hair feel really soft and amazing and it always looks way healthier and shinier after using those products.
Even the shampoo on it's own is incredible and you can see such a difference but I would recommend using the conditioner as well because your hair will be a lot softer :)

I also noticed that my hair was easier to comb through and got less tangled during the day and I think that that is amazing!

The packaging looks really nice and elegant as well although I found it quite hard to get the product out because you can't really squeeze the bottle and it doesn't come with a pump but that is the only downside to the Toni & Guy products.

I would recommend the shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair because the smell is amazing and it seriously works wonders!
However, as you may know I recently turned vegan and I couldn't find out if those products are vegan or if they were tested on animals or not, so if you know something about it let me know in the comments down below :)

Have you ever tried a Toni & Guy product?

Etsy Wishlist | Rings

As I said before, I don't own any jewellery items that I really like so I went to etsy and found some really pretty pieces :) Last week, I already posted a wishlist that included watches and bracelets.
If you haven't seen it yet click here.

Today, I am going to show you some really cute rings that I found!

Golden Vine Ring

I fell in love with this golden vine ring immediately!
I think it looks so cute and sophisticated and I love all the little details on the leaves.
It is made by hand out of 16k gold over brass and it is adjustable between the sizes 4 and 9.
I also think that this ring would be a perfect present since it is adjustable and really pretty as well.

Bunny Ring

This ring is literally the cutest thing I have ever seen!
Who doesn't want a bunny who's hanging on your finger? I definitely do!
The ring is made by hand out of brass and swarovski crystals.
It also is nickel free and, again, adjustable from size 4 to 9.
The shop offers a variety of animal rings and other really cute jewellery.

Arrow Ring

How cute are these?
I really like the design and all the little details of these rings!
Once again, they are handmade and adjustable from size 5 to 9.
They are available in silver, gold and rose gold and the shop also offers matching earrings which is amazing!

Anchor Ring

As I said in my other etsy wishlist, I'm a huge fan of nautical stuff so this ring is perfect for me!
I think it's just so cute and I love how the ring looks like a cord.
It is made by hand out of sterling silver and every single ring is a little different than the other one and I think that that's amazing since you'll be the only one who has that ring!
There are so many other pretty rings in the shop as well so it's definitely worth a visit :)

Mood Ring

This one has to be my favourite!
Mint is one of my favourite colours and I really like the style of it as well!
It looks so antique but also very chic and magical and that's what is so fascinating about this ring!
It is also made my hand out of brass, a glass dome and paint.
The only downside to this is, that it's not waterproof so you have to take it off when you're taking a bath etc. but it's so pretty that I'd be ok with that :)

Do you like wearing rings?
What is your favourite one?

Snoopy ♥

Last weekend, I went to visit a good friend of mine who recently got a little baby cat called Snoopy :)
I just thought that the pictures were too cute not to share!

I love cats so much and although Snoopy is a little 'bad boy' he's still way too cute!!

Do you love cats as much as I do?
Do you own a cat?

Vegan Vegetable Lasagne

I decided to not post Breakfast Sundays anymore but Vegan recipes instead since I turned vegan a few days ago. I probably will do a proper post on why I prefer eating vegan very soon so stay tuned for that :)

Today I'm going to share my very first vegan recipe with you guys!
I have to say that I'm not a pro at cooking and that this was my very first proper meal that I cooked.
I made a vegan vegetable lasagne (and I really liked it but my dad hated it so its probably not for everyone) and a really nice salad :)

What you need:

For the Lasagne:

- 1 packet of lasagne noodles (without egg)
- 2 carrots
- 1 medium sized zucchini
- 1 medium sized kohlrabi
- 1 medium sized fennel
- 2 medium sized tomatoes
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 celery
- 1/2 pepper
- 500 grams sieved tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of basil
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 litre of bechamel sauce
- 250 grams of vegan Parmesan

For the Bechamel Sauce:

- 1 litre of soy milk
- 4 tablespoons of flour
- 100 grams margarine
- 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper

For the Salad:

- as much lettuce as you want (I used about 3 handfuls)
- 1 tin of corn
- 3/4 of a cucumber
- 1/2 of a pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- some vegan cheese

How to make the lasagne:

First, you need to chop your vegetables into little cubes, roast them with olive oil in a wok and let them stew for about 10 minutes.

You then need to add the spices and the sieved tomatoes and mix it all together.
Now you need to prepare the bechamel sauce which is super simple!
Melt the margarine and add the salt and flour. At low head, slowly stir in the soy milk and let it simmer for about 20 minutes but don't forget to stir it every now and then.

Next, spread the olive oil in a baking pan and place the noodles at the bottom.
Put a layer of your vegetable filling on top of the noodles, then add the bechamel sauce and the vegan Parmesan. You want to do this about three times so that you have three layers of noodles, vegetables, bechamel sauce and parmesan :)

Now you just need to prepare the salad (chop everything and mix it together) and you're done!
Enjoy your cruelty free meal :)

Are you vegan as well?
